Yuck .. no need for a sauna. Just put the rubbish out then run back inside for cover. Nice cool change coming through.

This hottest day ever also became our worst bushfire emergency.  173 people lost their lives and more than 2000 homes burnt down. Towns such as Marysville, Narbethong, Kinglake and Flowerdale were almost totally destroyed.

The cool change that brought relief to the city brought unimaginable terror and destruction to the bush.

Black Saturday.

A Royal Commission is in progress.
